The Chrysler Concept `Cuda made its debut at the 2007 SEMA Show.
It features a full carbon fiber body painted in Lamborghini Pearl. The body is made by ‘Metalcrafters’, a Californian company that has built many Chrysler’s concepts, including the carbon fiber bodied Dodge Challenger Concept. This new car got front-end with single projector headlights, a new grille and a black ‘shaker’ hood. The same story can be told for the rear, which also gets new lights, a central fuel-filler cap, and a small carbon-fiber bootlid spoiler.

Under the hood is a 6.1-liter Hemi V8 that is mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission with Auto Stick.
The inside features a modified Charger SRT8 interior with black leather seats and door panels as well as a pistol grip shifter.

The suspension has been lowered 1.5-inches in the front and 2-inches in the rear, and the front brakes have been upgraded with Brembo 6-piston calipers. The Concept ‘Cuda rides on 22-inch Zenetti wheels wrapped in Pirelli PZero tires.
There’s no official information from Chrysler on whether this vehicle will remain a pure concept or if it’s destined for production, but bringing the car to market would not be a difficult task when you consider most of the car’s internals would be shared with the Challenger.
As you know the original Cuda was produced as a Plymouth but since that brand has been removed from Chrysler’s lineup this latest version would have to be sold either as a Chrysler or Dodge. And now the concept car is badgeless.
Brazilian designer Rafael Reston created his Barracuda Concept as stylish modern sportscar that follows the American Muscle Car revival trend and takes inspiration from the old 1971 Plymouth model.
His Cuda Concept was created to following the current trend of reestyling, iniated by Mustang, Ford and followed by Dodge Challenger and GM Camaro.
Among the design details are the very high belt line, 22-inches aluminum wheels and some styling cues that remind of the Mustang by Giugiaro concept car, such as the front end layout and the orange-black color scheme.
ost of the body panels, including the hood, spoilers and side panels, are in carbon fiber. The 2+2 coupe project is based on the Chrysler 300M platform, and is powered by a V8 Hemi Engine. Plymouth Barracuda Video
